Learning lessons again

Posted by pastor scott in Uncategorized

I performed an experiment during my run today. Instead of running my six mile course, I ran my three mile course twice. I wanted to see how that would affect me mentally and physically. I had a suspicion, but I was wrong. (more…)

Dead Man Walking

Posted by pastor scott in Uncategorized

There is a song by Toby Mac that seems to come up on random quite frequently on my runs. It is called “Yours” and it describes his desire to surrender himself completely to God. There is one line in particular that speaks to me lately. (more…)

Posted by pastor scott in Quiet Time

The things other people see everyday, and can not remember why or how it is important. I try to look at and tell myself why this should matter. I also learned (more…)

Dan QT 8.18.05

Last week my family and I walked through a vicious strain of the stomach flu, I’ll save you the sloppy details but during that time we had a window of health. A single day when we thought we were done (it came back later with a vengeance). On our day of clarity we found a Baskin Robbins and had ice cream. (more…)
